Care & Cleaning: Glass or Mirror
- Always use fresh, clean and soft materials to wash and dry glass
- Do not use bristle brushes or abrasive cleaning materials or products
- Use a soft cloth or clean synthetic sponge for washing. Do not use the same towel/sponge for wiping sills or frames
- A squeegee of 70 – 85 durometer hardness is recommended for removal of wash water and dirt
- Do not apply heavy pressure in any cleaning operation
- Use a different sponge, cleaning cloth and water bucket for cleaning the outside and the inside of the windows
- A little extra detergent for cleaning will make using the squeegee easier
- When cleaning mirror or back painted products ensure that there is no stagnant water around the edges, or it will start to paint / silvering will begin to deteriorate
- For mirror, showers, railings, and partitions we recommend you use Barber Glass Cleaner. Available for purchase at our office.
- Never store glass or mirror outside.
